High Committee for the Activation of Electronic Collection and Payment Operations

The member of the Sovereign Council, Assistant Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General Engineer Ibrahim Jaber Ibrahim, chaired a meeting of the High Committee for Currency Change and Substitution in Port Sudan.

The Minister of Finance, Jibril Ibrahim, stated in a press statement that the meeting discussed ways to enhance and develop electronic collection and payment operations through various banking applications and to facilitate the transfer process between all commercial banks.

He revealed the formation of a high-level committee to follow up on the activation of electronic payment and collection systems for all government institutions.

The Minister of Finance promised that the coming phase would witness developments in electronic banking, enabling citizens to complete their transactions with ease and convenience.
