Decline in Gum Arabic Prices

The prices of agricultural products in the Al-Nuhud crop market have witnessed a noticeable decline in some commodities.

The auction director at the exchange, Radhi Ali Baraka, revealed that the price of a quintal of peanuts dropped to 25,000 Sudanese pounds in cash and stabilized at 26,000 Sudanese pounds through electronic payment.

He added that the price of a ton of shelled peanuts fell to 750,000 Sudanese pounds in cash, while it stabilized at 800,000 Sudanese pounds via electronic payment.

Regarding gum arabic prices, Baraka noted a decrease compared to last week, with prices ranging between 210,000 Sudanese pounds in cash and 220,000 Sudanese pounds through electronic payment.

Sesame prices, however, remained stable between 65,000 and 70,000 Sudanese pounds in cash, while the prices of roselle and watermelon seeds stabilized between 40,000 and 45,000 Sudanese pounds in cash.
