Stability of Foreign Currency Exchange Rates in the Parallel Market
The Egyptian pound recorded a new increase against the Sudanese pound in the parallel market, while the exchange rates of other foreign currencies against the Sudanese pound remained stable.
Currency traders in the foreign exchange market reported that the US dollar’s rate in Saturday’s parallel market trading remained stable at 2,650 Sudanese pounds. Meanwhile, the Saudi riyal stood at 706.66 Sudanese pounds, the UAE dirham at 722.07 Sudanese pounds, and the euro at 2,704.08 Sudanese pounds. The British pound was valued at 3,231.70 Sudanese pounds, while the Egyptian pound saw a new increase, reaching 52.76 Sudanese pounds. The Bahraini dinar was recorded at 6,973.68 Sudanese pounds, the Qatari riyal at 730.02 Sudanese pounds, the Omani riyal at 6,973.68 Sudanese pounds, and the Kuwaiti dinar at 8,548.38 Sudanese pounds.
