Shendi: Arrangements for Participation in the Investment Forum
The Shendi Locality discussed the arrangements for its participation in the upcoming Investment Forum in the Nile River State, scheduled to be held at the end of this month.
The meeting, chaired by the Executive Director of Shendi Locality, Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar, included several technical, specialized, and media committees. The meeting focused on how to showcase the significant investment opportunities in Shendi, along with the preferential advantages the locality offers, which are fundamental to investment work.
Abdel-Ghaffar stated in the Sunday meeting that Shendi is poised for a major investment renaissance and may attract both Arab and foreign investments, in addition to national investments. He emphasized that the Investment Forum presents an opportunity for Sudanese and foreign expertise to come together in various production sectors, whether agricultural or industrial.
He added that the preferential, operational, and incentive advantages that Shendi enjoys will be a decisive factor in ensuring the locality receives the largest share of these investments. He also highlighted that the industrial city in Shendi, which accommodates more than twenty industrial establishments, will be a major feature at this investment forum.
