A leader of the National Umma Party reaffirmed the party’s rejection of the formation of a parallel government to the current ruling authority and vehemently denied claims of the party’s agreement to align with certain components of the Revolutionary Front in forming such a government.
Hassan Othman Saleh, a leader within the party, told Sudan Tribune that a group he described as “UAE agents” is behind these statements. He emphasized that the party stands firmly with the armed forces in liberating every inch of the homeland.
