Sudan Participates in Regional Forum in Kuwait

The Undersecretary for Planning at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, Dr. Mohamed Bashar, is representing the Government of Sudan at the Water Development Financing Forum for the Middle East and North Africa, which is being held in Kuwait City, Kuwait, from January 21 to 22.
The forum aims to develop innovative solutions to ensure water security, providing a platform for countries in the region to discuss with partners and development financiers to explore funding opportunities related to enhancing water security in the face of climate change. It also aims to identify water projects that support cooperation between countries in the region.
The forum is being held under the initiative of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, with the participation of the World Bank Group.
