Don’t Rush

By Rashid Abdul Rahim

The rebel forces have issued a warning to the joint forces, the army, and the mobilized troops in El Fasher, giving them 48 hours to surrender and lay down their arms.

They announced that they had prepared 6,000 soldiers and 398 combat vehicles for the battle.

Despite this, the steadfast forces in the city have repelled over 170 attacks since the beginning of the war, killing numerous leaders, including Ali Yaqoub, Qarn Shatta, and others.

The rebels have consistently relied on lies and deception throughout this war. In their latest falsehood, they claimed to have 6,000 fighters equipped with 398 fully armed vehicles.

Even if each vehicle could carry ten fighters—which is impossible—how will more than 2,000 fighters in this false campaign fight without transport?

The rebel forces are conducting their war with an ugly, racist agenda. They have repeatedly declared their intent to target the northern regions, particularly the Ja’aliyeen areas in Shendi, Atbara, and Dongola. It is not unlikely that they aim to keep the army occupied in El Fasher while launching an attack on the northern regions from Al-Dabbah.

The rebels always appoint members of their tribal faction, the Mahariya, to leadership positions. The battles in El Fasher were led by Ali Yaqoub, Qarn Shatta, and now Abdul Rahim Dagalo.

They refuse to allow any non-tribal members to hold leadership positions. All their commanders in battle come exclusively from their tribe.

They couldn’t tolerate the presence of Keikel, conspired against Captain Sufyan, and have now turned against their commander in Gezira, Sharon, accusing him—through their official spokesperson—of having connections with military intelligence.

With such blatant racism, lies, and disregard for the lives of their soldiers, who are being killed by the hundreds daily, the rebels will not be able to sustain this war for long.

There is significant pressure on the armed forces to bring the war to an end quickly and retake the General Command headquarters after their communications units merge with it.

However, this rush risks losing a crucial advantage: completely eliminating this rebellion.

A war driven by racism is likely to drag on, as it is fueled by hatred and vengeance, aspiring for more than just victory.

Every day, we witness significant strides in eradicating this cancer.

Yesterday, the army repelled a large attack on El-Aylafoun, killing dozens of rebels, and annihilated hundreds in Kafouri as they lined up to collect their wages.

Our forces have liberated Gezira, the Blue Nile, the White Nile, and Sennar, and they are advancing in the capital’s tri-city area. The rebels have failed to seize Babnousa, El Fasher, and Kordofan.

War demands patience, and only a little remains before a decisive victory is achieved. So be patient, steadfast, and unwavering, for our soldiers remain resolute, and God’s promise of victory is drawing near.
