On Wednesday, the Northern Shendi Rural Unit held an important meeting to coordinate efforts for distributing humanitarian aid, with representatives from the Red Crescent, Zakat, Social Welfare, and several concerned parties in attendance.
During the meeting, it was agreed to form grassroots committees in villages to facilitate the enumeration and monitoring processes. Accurate survey forms were distributed for affected families. The importance of educating citizens about the project’s objectives was emphasized, urging them to register to ensure they benefit from the aid.
Next Sunday was set as the deadline for submitting lists of families eligible for support, with an emphasis on providing the names of committee members for each village to ensure efficient work.
