On Friday, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, visited Sheikh Abdul Wahab Al-Kabbashi’s mosque and religious school in Bahri. He was accompanied by Sovereignty Council member and Deputy Commander-in-Chief, General Yasir Al-Atta, Director of the Defense Industries System, General Mirghani Idris, Deputy Director General of the General Intelligence Service, General Muhammad Abbas Al-Labeeb, and Bahri Military Region Commander, General Al-Nauman Ali Awad Al-Sayed.
Sheikh Abdul Wahab Al-Kabbashi, along with the students of the religious school and large crowds of citizens in Bahri locality, welcomed him. The people gathered to greet the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and express their unwavering support for the military as it engages in the national “Dignity Battle” to defeat the treacherous rebellion of the Al-Dagalo terrorist militia.
The Chairman praised the significant roles played by Sufi orders in the “Dignity Battle,” highlighting their spiritual efforts in praying and seeking God’s aid for the victory of the armed forces and the restoration of security and stability in the countr.
