The Deputy Governor of the Nile River State, Minister of Culture, Information, and Communications Mustafa Mohammed Osman Al-Sharif, stated that the first Nile Investment Forum in the Nile River State represents the cornerstone for the true start of reconstruction and development across all of Sudan following the declaration of liberation of all areas affected by rebellion.
He added that the Nile River State’s investment experience could serve as a valuable guide for all states directly affected by the war and where vital facilities and infrastructure were destroyed.
He noted that the Nile River State’s experience will serve as a model for other states, especially in terms of flexible procedures, implementing the one-stop-shop program for all processes in one place, precise monitoring by the relevant authorities, field visits to project sites, and ensuring the implementation of projects according to the specified timelines, ultimately leading to production.
Al-Sharif, according to the Nile River State’s online newspaper, expects that the results and recommendations of the forum will boost the interest of both national and foreign companies that attended and those that did not, as the resources available in Sudan and the Nile River State are a strong motivator for investors.
Al-Sharif considered that the Nile River State has become a leader in the field of investment, benefiting from its experiences and gaining expertise in this area, becoming a model with its own distinctive approach to its dealings with individuals, companies, institutions, and countries in the investment sector.
