The Executive Director of Giad Group for Engineering Industries, Abdullah Abdul Maaqir, confirmed that the opening of the Group’s car exhibition in Port Sudan represents support, reinforcement, and a victory for Sudan in the fields of industry and engineering.
Abdul Maaqir stated that Giad Group had been subjected to destruction and sabotage due to the war, but determination and persistence were high, and after the events, the group started to restore its activities through a simple maintenance center.
He explained that the group has three car production lines, in addition to a line for producing three-wheeled vehicles.
Abdul Maaqir confirmed the group’s readiness to make 2025 the year of production, highlighting their contracts for new production lines in the city of Damer and a line for electric vehicle production within the next six months.
He noted that the group expanded its showrooms despite the war conditions, with numerous showrooms being opened in New Halfa, Kassala, Dongola, Atbara, and Gedaref.
