Breaking the Siege

On Friday, the Sudanese army achieved another significant victory in the “Battle of Dignity.”
Forces from Omdurman and Kadro successfully joined with the Signal Corps to break the siege on the Sudanese army’s General Command in Khartoum.

The Sudanese army announced on Friday that it had completed the second phase of its operations by uniting the Bahri and Omdurman forces with troops stationed at the General Command.
In a press statement, the army stated: “The Armed Forces Command congratulates our forces across all combat axes on this victory, which coincided with repelling the treacherous attack by Al-Dagalo militia on Friday morning on the steadfast city of Al-Fasher, driving them out of the Al-Jaili Refinery and military industries complex.”

Upon the announcement of the armies’ unification and the lifting of the siege on the General Command, Sudanese citizens in several cities took to the streets to celebrate the army’s victories. They chanted slogans like “One Army, One People” and praised the Armed Forces and their continuous achievements.

Government: A Turning Point

In a Facebook post, he wrote: “Praise be to Allah, who has enabled our people to tread the path of struggle and victories with unmatched pride, dignity, and courage, and an unwavering determination.”

Every step we take is the result of the sacrifices of the brave sons of this nation, who have given their all for its sake.”

Al-Aysar continued: “The advance of our valiant army, alongside supporting forces and volunteers, is a living testament to the unity of our people and their resilience in defending their land and dignity. We will not rest until we see every inch of our nation secure, stable, peaceful, and prosperous.”

He stressed that popular unity and strong will are the primary drivers that give confidence to the army and the Sudanese people that victory is near and that Allah will not waste the efforts of the sons of this noble nation.
Al-Aysar prayed for the safety of the homeland, for the success of all efforts, and for the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country to rest in peace in paradise.
He concluded: “Our valiant army is advancing with unwavering determination on multiple fronts, while the militias are collapsing day and night. We will persist with unyielding resolve until every militia, rebellion, and mercenary, along with their internal and external collaborators, is eradicated. By Allah’s grace and support, complete victory will soon be achieved, and our nation will recover its strength, security, and peace.”
