A Sudanese State Prepares to Launch 10 Fuel Stations

Sudan Events – Follow-ups

The Acting Minister of Finance, Economy, and Workforce in Al-Jazeera State, Atef Mohamed Ibrahim Abu Shouk, has called on fuel station owners in Wad Madani to expedite the renovation and maintenance of their stations to bring them into operation.

During the inauguration of the “Oil Energy” station at the new market in Wad Madani, accompanied by the governor of Al-Jazeera and members of the security committee, he stated that fuel service stations, like other facilities such as water, electricity, healthcare, and even places of worship, have suffered destruction at the hands of the mutinous Rapid Support Forces militia.

Abu Shouk, as reported by the Sudan News Agency (SUNA), announced that ten fuel stations are expected to be operational soon, following the completion of maintenance and renovation efforts. He emphasized that these efforts aim to restore services for citizens. Maintenance and restoration work is also ongoing across all service facilities in Wad Madani.
