Shendi – Rehab Abdullah

Mohamed Othman, the CEO of Aseel Holding Group, called for a true partnership with media outlets. During the visit of the delegation from the National Radio and Television Corporation and the Radio and Television of the River Nile State to Aseel Holding Group on Sunday, Mohamed Othman explained that the group began operations in the River Nile State in June 2023, starting with the Farsh Soap Factory and Omega Plast. He mentioned that the group consists of 12 factories and 52 products, including a juice factory, Al-Judyan Packaging Factory for 17 products, Exland Biscuit Factory, as well as a poultry production project, starting with 6 barns and 6 incubators. He added that they own a modern slaughterhouse in addition to a feed factory to complete the poultry production cycle, as well as a steel and zinc forming factory and a school notebook manufacturing plant, noting that the states have withdrawn Aseel’s notebooks. He also mentioned Aseel’s cardboard factory, which will be officially opened in February 2025, pointing out that the raw material is imported due to the high cost of local production.

Mohamed Othman confirmed that the group’s goal is to achieve local market self-sufficiency with its products, then to export abroad. He also announced that the group is moving forward with onion and mango drying factories through an agreement with a Turkish company to implement this, in addition to manufacturing medical gauze and intravenous solutions. He confirmed that the group controls 65% of the market, with other factories competing for the remaining 35% of the market share.

The CEO of Aseel Holding Group, Mohamed Othman, praised the facilities provided by the River Nile State Government and the Shendi Locality to the group, noting that the state granted Aseel the golden sponsor of the River Nile Investment and Industry Forum on January 28th.
