Changes in Crop Prices
The Director of Auctions at the Stock Exchange, Al-Radi Ali Baraka, stated that the price of a quintal of peanuts reached 25,500 Sudanese pounds in cash, while it was 26,000 pounds via electronic payment. He added that the price of a ton of shelled peanuts was 800,000 Sudanese pounds for cash payment, and 850,000 pounds for electronic payment.
As for the prices of gum arabic, the price was 235,000 Sudanese pounds in cash, and 250,000 pounds via electronic payment.
Sesame prices were 65,000 pounds in cash, and 70,000 pounds for electronic payment. Meanwhile, the prices of hibiscus and watermelon seeds remained stable, ranging between 40,000 and 45,000 pounds in cash.
