Finance Signs E-Service Contracts with Two Banks
The Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, on Sunday, signed legal contracts with Faisal Islamic Bank and the Bank of Khartoum, under which banking services, products, and electronic collection and payment services will be provided to the Ministry of Finance. This agreement will enable the ministry to collect and deposit government service and transaction fees electronically. The contracts were signed by the Director General of the Accounts Bureau on behalf of the Ministry of Finance and by the representatives of the banks. This is part of the Ministry of Finance’s efforts to open a government account in widely spread commercial banks that have the necessary facilities to implement the electronic collection and payment project.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Director General of the Treasury Department, the Director of Revenue, and the Ministry’s Legal Advisor.
