The Governor of the Gezira Scheme visited some sections of West Managil, starting with the Al-Tahameed section, including the White Office, Um Shadida Office, and Al-Shuwairf.
The Governor confirmed that the positive field situation reflects the farmer’s strong connection to the land and his ability to overcome all challenges. It sends a message to the world that Sudan will not face hunger. He conveyed congratulations from the highest leadership levels on the success in various areas and the success of the winter crop season. He emphasized that the leadership will attend the harvest celebrations and thanked the armed forces, other security agencies, and all partners who worked to protect the fields from rebel attacks.
The Governor announced that the project, in its second century, will witness a renaissance in line with the latest global technological advancements in agriculture.
