Dozens of Mercenaries Killed in Al-Fasher

Sudan Events – Follow-ups

The Armed Forces, along with the joint forces and volunteers supported by air forces, carried out successful operations targeting scattered gatherings of the Rapid Support Forces militia in the southeast and northeast of Al-Fasher, as well as the northwestern axis, inflicting heavy losses in lives and equipment.

The army and joint forces destroyed no less than 37 combat vehicles and killed dozens of mercenaries attempting to infiltrate the city.
The Sixth Division stated in its press release that, based on intelligence information, airstrikes targeted all the militia who had gathered to initiate a new attack, causing massive casualties and scattering them between the dead and wounded.

It pointed out the continued militia crimes and violations against innocent civilians and civilian infrastructure, stating: “The terrorist militia targeted residential neighborhoods and shelters as usual with artillery, resulting in the martyrdom of a 4-year-old girl and the injury of 12 citizens, including women and children.”

It stressed that the situation in Al-Fasher is stable and free of any rebels within the city, while noting that our forces managed to shoot down six suicide drones targeting service sites in the city.
