Sudan Events – Follow-ups

The Acting Governor of Nile River State, Mohamed Al-Badawi Abdel-Majid Abu Qoron, praised the armed forces and their supporting forces and congratulated the Sudanese people on the victories achieved on all fronts.
In his speech at the opening session of the Investment and Industrial Forum for the state on Tuesday, he confirmed that investment is the true exit strategy for the national economy and the engine of development.
The governor pointed out that the forum is a smart partnership between the state, the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Industry, and the Sudanese Standards and Metrology Authority. He added that the forum is timely, as Sudan faces the great challenge of a phase of construction, reconstruction, production, and investment, which represents a powerful force to enhance opportunities for revival, development, and comprehensive growth.
The governor explained that the goal of the forum is to set strategies and a vision to improve the state’s situation, stressing that investment is the main axis in developing the lives of individuals and communities. He emphasized the need for tight coordination between the public and private sectors, local communities, and moving away from the traditional investment model by introducing new concepts that contribute to achieving balanced and comprehensive development, preserving the environment, and enhancing human resource efficiency to keep pace with progress.
