Sudan Events – Follow-ups
General Ahmed Ibrahim Mofadal, the Director-General of the National Intelligence and Security Service, stated that the battle will not end until every inch of Sudan’s land is liberated, from Khartoum to Geneina in West Darfur. He pointed out the major challenges facing the Intelligence Service and its members, foremost of which are community security and mending the social fabric among Sudanese citizens. Additionally, the reconstruction of what the war has destroyed requires the efforts of all state institutions and agencies to restore life to normal and provide all essential services to citizens.
The Director-General of the National Intelligence and Security Service, accompanied by Deputy Director-General, Major General Mohamed Abbas Al-Labib, met with the leaders of the Lions of the Den mobile units in the areas of Omdurman and Bahri.
Mofadal praised the significant role played by the forces in various battlefronts in supporting the armed forces. He stated that they dedicate this victory, achieved through the integration of the different mobile units with the Signal Corps and the General Command, alongside the liberation of the Jili Oil Refinery, to the souls of the martyrs, the wounded, the injured, and all the Sudanese people.
The Director-General of Intelligence also saluted the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces for his continuous support to all institutions so that they can perform their roles during this critical phase.
