Minister: Investment is the Key to Achieving Development

Investment Minister, Ahlam Madani Sabeel, stated that investment in the upcoming phase will play a significant role and is the key to achieving development, especially since the country is rich in vast resources. She noted that benefiting from these resources requires effort, and her ministry is ready for that.
She made these comments while addressing the opening session of the Nile Industrial Investment Forum. She explained that the choice of the Nile River State for the forum was due to its strategic location and its hosting of successful projects across various sectors.
She highlighted its contribution to exports, employment, and meeting local market demands, adding that the state had previously helped bridge the gap following the separation of South Sudan.
Furthermore, she mentioned that Nile River is one of the first states to ease investment procedures and implement the unified window system. She urged other states to follow its example and prepare investment plans, including lands free of restrictions. She praised the accompanying exhibitions at the forum, describing them as exceptional and well-organized.
