Turkish Delegation Interested in Investing in Sudan

Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Ahlam Madani Mahdi Sabil, reaffirmed her ministry’s commitment to overcoming all obstacles hindering Turkish investments in Sudan.
She emphasized Sudan’s dedication to strengthening economic ties with Turkey for the mutual benefit of both countries.
During her meeting with a delegation from the Turkish Business Council on the sidelines of the Nile Investment and Industry Forum, Ahlam provided a detailed briefing on investment opportunities in Sudan, the legal framework governing investments, and the incentives and privileges offered to investors. She also highlighted Sudan’s vast natural resources.
She stated that such meetings are crucial in enhancing economic relations between the two nations and laying a strong foundation for cooperation.
The minister praised Turkey’s efforts in rebuilding areas affected by war and its commitment to achieving peace in Sudan. She noted that the Turkish delegation expressed interest in investing in various sectors, particularly reconstruction projects.
She also highlighted that Sudan has now become a prime destination for smart partnerships that ensure mutual benefits.
For his part, the chairman of the Turkish Business Council and head of the delegation commended the Ministry of Investment’s efforts in attracting investors. He stated that the coming period will witness the involvement of Turkish companies in Sudan, particularly in reconstruction and free trade zones.
