Seizure of Sexual Enhancers and Banned Medications

The police investigations unit in Gedaref State, in coordination with the Trade and Supply Investigations Department, seized a warehouse containing large quantities of smuggled and unregistered medications, including sexual enhancers and other prohibited drugs.
The operation followed precise intelligence indicating that these drugs were being stored in preparation for local market distribution. Upon verification, a joint team led by Police Major Jalal Ibrahim Saber from the Trade and Supply Investigations Department, along with First Lieutenant Mohamed Siddiq from the state’s investigations unit and a team from the Pharmacy and Poisons Directorate of the Ministry of Health, conducted a thorough search of the warehouse.
The raid resulted in the discovery of 20 types of unregistered medications, including sexual enhancers and other banned drugs, posing health risks to citizens. The seized drugs were valued at over 10 billion Sudanese pounds.
A legal case was filed under Articles 16 and 17 of the Pharmacy Law, and two individuals involved in receiving and distributing the medications were arrested.
