Enrique: Brest’s Strength Lies in Their Team Play

Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique has warned that his team must be wary of Brest’s collective strength, stating that they are preparing for a tough challenge ahead of Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League playoff second-leg match at Parc des Princes.

PSG put themselves in a strong position with a 3-0 away win against Brest in the first leg last Tuesday, thanks to a penalty from Vitinha and a brace from the in-form French forward Ousmane Dembélé.

However, Enrique is not taking the result for granted, as his side—currently leading Ligue 1—aims to win the Champions League for the first time in their history.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Enrique said:
“Despite the strong first-leg result, this will undoubtedly be a difficult match. Our only goal must be to win from the start.”

He added:
“The atmosphere will be electric. We need to focus on attacking and defending with intensity.”

Enrique also emphasized Brest’s collective strength:
“Their power lies in their teamwork rather than individual players. Facing Brest is always challenging, and we need to be fully prepared. Can they turn things around? Our job is to make sure they don’t.”
