Plan for Maintenance and Geographic Distribution of Water Stations in Khartoum

The Director General of the Khartoum State Water Corporation, Consultant Engineer Mohammed Ali Al-Ajab, praised the significant and well-recognized efforts of Sovereignty Council member, Naval Engineer Lieutenant General Ibrahim Jaber, in supporting water services in Khartoum State.
In a press statement on Tuesday, Engineer Al-Ajab stated that the current phase requires the provision of all necessary engineering and logistical resources to restore water stations to full operation. He highlighted General Ibrahim Jaber’s directives during his recent visit to the state, where he instructed an assessment of the corporation’s needs and operational requirements.
He noted that General Jaber had previously provided substantial support, including several pumps and their accessories for the Bait Al-Mal Water Station, which contributed to alleviating the water shortage in the area. Al-Ajab also mentioned that the corporation has prepared a plan to maintain its water stations according to their geographic distribution, which necessitates substantial financial resources.
He expressed appreciation for the continued support from the Governor of Khartoum and his administration to ensure water supply stability and facilitate the return of residents to their areas. Additionally, he commended the dedication and sacrifices of the corporation’s workers, who have been striving to maintain water supply for citizens since the outbreak of the war.
