Saudi Arabia: Hosting U.S.-Russia Talks to Enhance Global Security and Peace
Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its welcome of hosting discussions between Russia and the United States on its soil as part of its efforts to promote global security and peace. The statement was made during a cabinet session chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh on Tuesday.
At the beginning of the session, the Crown Prince briefed the cabinet on the contents of his phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron and his meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The discussions covered bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and both countries, ways to enhance cooperation across various sectors, and the latest regional and international developments.
Saudi Minister of Information Salman Al-Dosari stated that the cabinet reviewed the kingdom’s overall activities in recent days, particularly in strengthening bilateral ties with allied and friendly nations. He emphasized Saudi Arabia’s commitment to collective action on regional and international levels to achieve shared aspirations and objectives.
