Sovereign Council Member General Ibrahim Jaber Briefed on the Situation in Al-Jazirah Project

Sovereign Council Member and Assistant Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General Engineer Ibrahim Jaber, has been briefed on the overall situation of the Al-Jazirah agricultural project following its liberation from the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and the extent of the damage inflicted on it.
During his meeting today with Engineer Ibrahim Mustafa Ali, Governor of the Al-Jazirah Project, General Jaber pledged to remove all obstacles and challenges facing the project. He assured that solutions would be coordinated with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, particularly concerning irrigation issues and farmers’ challenges.
The Governor of the Al-Jazirah Project stated in a press release that an agreement had been reached on several urgent and long-term solutions to address the project’s problems and restore it to its former state. The discussions also covered preparations for the summer planting season.
He commended the victories achieved by the Sudanese Armed Forces and supporting units across all fronts, which led to the liberation of the Al-Jazirah Project from the rebel militia.
