Sudan Events – Reports
Magdi Mohamed Amin, Head of Corporate Communications at Bank of Khartoum, affirmed that the “Bankak” application is highly secured and well-protected.
In a press statement on Wednesday, Magdi denied reports that the application had been hacked, causing disruptions and outages, as some media outlets had claimed.
He reassured customers that the bank’s security measures and technological systems are fully fortified against hacking and cyberattacks, emphasizing that no breach has occurred and none will happen.
Magdi further stressed that Bankak remains the only banking application that has not gone offline for a single day since the onset of the conflict in Sudan. He added that the ongoing campaign targeting Bank of Khartoum due to its significant economic role in the Battle of Dignity only strengthens its determination to continue serving the great Sudanese people.
