The National Council for Child Welfare revealed that 46 girls were raped in the states of Kordofan and Sennar over the past two months.
According to Sudan Tribune, the Council’s Secretary-General, Abdel Qader Al-Amin Abu, stated that the council recorded 46 cases of child rape in areas entered by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), particularly in the outskirts of Kordofan and the border between Sennar and White Nile.
He also announced new figures regarding children who lost limbs due to bullet shrapnel, reporting a total of 73 children, including 33 in Wad Madani, 20 in Khartoum, and 20 in Sennar state.
Additionally, he highlighted the disappearance of 2,000 children in Sennar and Al-Jazira states during RSF attacks on those regions.
The report confirmed that RSF militias have recruited 3,000 children in the areas of Sennar, Al-Suki, Al-Dinder, and Al-Jazira, in addition to 2,750 children in Khartoum state.
