Directives for Strict Slaughterhouse Oversight in River Nile State

Dr. Najda Al-Zubair, Minister of Livestock in River Nile State, reaffirmed her ministry’s commitment to the livestock sector and its modernization to keep up with advancements.
During her visit to Berber locality on Thursday, she met with the locality’s Executive Director, Hassan Ibrahim Karar, at his office. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Aya Hassan Ali Al-Zubair, Director of Livestock in Berber locality.
Dr. Najda Al-Zubair explained that the visit aimed to assess the operations of the livestock administration in Berber and ensure the effectiveness of its programs.
The meeting discussed several issues related to livestock development, including animal husbandry and the establishment of modern slaughterhouses that meet health standards. The minister announced plans to adopt and modernize livestock management practices in the locality.
Additionally, the discussion emphasized the need for regular livestock monitoring to ensure disease prevention and enhance animal health. Daily slaughterhouse inspections were also highlighted as crucial for public safety.
The Executive Director of Berber locality affirmed his full commitment to implementing the discussed measures. He commended the efforts of the livestock administration at both the state and local levels, recognizing their dedication to advancing the sector.
Both parties agreed to ensure full coordination between the ministry and the locality to implement modern practices and make Berber a model for livestock management.
