Manchester United Recovers Three Players Ahead of Everton Clash

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim will regain the services of Christian Eriksen, Manuel Ugarte, and Leny Yoro before facing hosts Everton on Saturday in the English Premier League, providing a much-needed boost for his struggling team.
When asked during Friday’s press conference if this week had been kinder to him compared to the previous one, which was dominated by negative injury news, Amorim smiled and said: “Yes, because we are not losing players, but actually getting them back—Chris, Manu, and Leny are returning.”
Amorim also clarified his comments regarding Eriksen’s absence from last Sunday’s 1-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur.
Speaking about Eriksen, who suffered a cardiac arrest during Euro 2020, the Portuguese coach said: “Chris has a heart issue, and we must be extremely careful with that. It’s not about the heart itself. I’m just saying that his heart rate needs to be controlled because he had a fever.”
Eriksen later clarified in an Instagram post that he had simply contracted a virus.
Amorim further explained on Friday: “It was just a misunderstanding regarding Chris. I want to be very clear on this—he is healthy and can play at a high level for many more years. There are just limitations when it comes to explaining injuries, and I really want to clear that up.”
Tomorrow’s match at Goodison Park is crucial for both teams, who are positioned in the middle of the league table.
United currently sits 15th in the standings, 12 points clear of the relegation zone and just one point behind 14th-placed Everton.
