La Liga: Real Madrid Regains Momentum with Girona Victory

Real Madrid corrected their course in La Liga with a 2-0 win over Girona in the 25th round of the competition on Sunday.

This marked Madrid’s first league victory after drawing against Atlético Madrid and Osasuna and suffering a defeat to Espanyol in the previous three rounds.

The goals came from Luka Modrić and Vinícius Júnior in the 41st and 83rd minutes, respectively.

With this win, Real Madrid climbed to 54 points, tying with Barcelona at the top of the standings, though trailing on goal difference.

Meanwhile, Girona suffered their third consecutive defeat, leaving them with 31 points in 12th place.
