Minister of Finance Reaffirms Government’s Commitment to Supporting Productive Projects for Reconstruction

Dr. Jibril Ibrahim, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, has reiterated the government’s commitment to leveraging available financing opportunities to support productive projects and small enterprises for the benefit of small-scale producers and agricultural associations. This initiative aims to mitigate the impacts of war on citizens and bolster the state’s efforts in reconstruction.
During his meeting on Sunday with a delegation from the Mararit Federal Tribe at the ministry, the minister emphasized the importance of organizing small-scale producers into cooperative associations to enhance their capacities, facilitate their access to financing, and provide them with technological packages and improved production methods. This aligns with the government’s approach to involving all sectors of society in sustainable development and peacebuilding.
For his part, the head of the delegation, Abdel-Din Adam Othman, affirmed the commitment of local administrative bodies to supporting the national economy by participating in productive projects and addressing the effects of war on vulnerable segments across all states.
