Sudan Events – Agencies

A military source confirmed that the army has retaken the town of Kurgal in South Kordofan state, located in the western part of the country, which was previously under the control of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North led by Abdulaziz al-Hilu.

The source noted, according to “Al-Jazeera,” that retaking Kurgal would help lift the siege on Kadugli, the capital of South Kordofan, and connect it to the city of Dilling.
