Gas Price Reduction in Wad Madani

The Director of Petroleum Administration in Al-Jazirah State, Hassan Suleiman, announced that the Governor of Al-Jazirah has approved the recommendation of the Petroleum Administration and the Minister of Finance, Economy, and Labor to reduce the price of a 12.5 kg gas cylinder to 46,000 Sudanese pounds instead of 51,000 pounds, effective from Tuesday, February 25.

The Director of Petroleum Administration also revealed a reduction in the price of a liter of gas for bakeries in Wad Madani, with prices set at 2,100 Sudanese pounds for city bakeries and 2,150 Sudanese pounds for bakeries in other localities. He noted ongoing efforts to operate the Abrasi Gas Depot in Wad Madani next Thursday to supply different sectors.

Meanwhile, in coordination with Wad Madani Grand Locality, the Petroleum Administration continued distributing cooking gas in various neighborhoods of Wad Madani. On Monday, 800 gas cylinders were distributed across neighborhoods such as Mayo 40 (last station), Bantt Square, and Hantoub Casablanca.
