Sudan Events – Rehab Abdullah

The Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Hala Madani Sabil, announced the development of plans that align with the post-war phase.

In an interview with Al-Ahdath, she stated that the investment sector remains promising. She highlighted the Ministry of Investment’s participation in numerous forums to sign new investment agreements and activate and revitalize previous agreements.

She revealed that her ministry continues to receive investment applications and denied any cancellations of investments so far, confirming that investment activities are progressing steadily.

The minister pointed out that the Sudanese government is working to attract numerous investments, especially after offering various incentives, guarantees, and privileges that will undoubtedly appeal to investors.

She emphasized that the war has been a driving force rather than a setback in attracting more national and foreign investments.

“We are committed to attracting more high-quality investment partnerships that will boost the economy and rebuild what the war has destroyed. Our promotional efforts have focused on infrastructure projects across all sectors, including renewable energy, electricity, roads, bridges, railways, and other key projects,” she said.
