Sudanese Foreign Ministry Undersecretary, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin, announced the withdrawal of Sudan’s ambassador to Kenya following tensions between the two countries over Nairobi hosting a militia conference.
In a press conference organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information in Port Sudan on Monday, the Undersecretary stated that the Sudanese ambassador is expected to return to Sudan either today or tomorrow.
He also revealed that Sudan has implemented economic measures against Kenya, including a ban on importing goods from Kenya, with Kenyan tea being the most notable item affected.
