The leadership council of the National Umma Party has announced the dismissal of Lieutenant General Fadlallah Burma Nasser from his role as party leader.
During a leadership council meeting, it was decided to appoint Mohamed Abdullah Doma as the new party president.
Burma Nasser’s removal came as a result of his participation in signing the political charter in Nairobi.
