Sudan’s representative to the United Nations, Al-Harith Idris, stated that, in an unprecedented move that represents a clear violation of the United Nations and African Union charters, Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta adopted the alleged parallel government led by the Rapid Support Forces militia.
Al-Harith added during a Security Council session on Wednesday, “The meeting of militia leaders in Nairobi echoed slogans during the signing session calling for the invasion of specific Sudanese cities, continuing the ethnic cleansing carried out in Geneina, Ardmetta, the villages of Al-Jazeera and Sennar, and Zaatari camp.”
The Sudanese representative to the United Nations confirmed that 2 million citizens have returned to their areas after the liberation of the states of Al-Jazeera, Sennar, and parts of Khartoum and White Nile.
