With a generous initiative and support from the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, the Governor of the Red Sea State, General Mustafa Mohamed Noor, launched the project to distribute Ramadan food baskets to the displaced people affected by the war in the state. These baskets are provided by the Chairman of the Sovereign Council, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Sovereign Council, Major General Dr. Mohamed Al-Ghali Ali Youssef.
The Governor of the Red Sea State praised this generous initiative in a press statement, which is part of efforts to assist families affected by the war due to the repercussions of violations and actions carried out by terrorist militias against citizens. It also aims to help provide essential supplies to these families during the holy month of Ramadan.
He stated, “We will distribute the Ramadan food baskets to the citizens in their areas at the shelters,” and noted that they would also extend the distribution to other states of Sudan.
