Government: 17 Nationalities Are Components of the Rapid Support Forces

Sudan Events – Follow-ups

The Minister of Culture and Information, and the official spokesman for the government, Khaled Al-Iaisar, confirmed that 17 nationalities are currently part of the Rapid Support Forces militia.

He stated that he had no doubt that the Sudanese army would triumph, emphasizing that the Sudanese people are united and that they rely on the youth currently in the trenches of dignity and pride to achieve victory.

Al-Iaisar, in an interview on Sudan TV, praised the Armed Forces, joint forces, regular forces, volunteers, and the “Mayarim” forces in El Fasher.

He mentioned that the Chairman of the Sovereign Council, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, had learned that the Rapid Support Forces had almost established their own state using the army’s budget. He pointed out that the effects of the war can be seen on every wall in Omdurman, Khartoum, and Bahri, calling for the destruction’s traces to remain so the world can witness Sudan’s ability to resist the greatest conspiracy against the country.

The Minister of Information stated that the Forces for Freedom and Change (FFC) and the resistance movements are complicit in the crimes of the Rapid Support Forces through the Nairobi Agreement and previously in another Horn of Africa country. He referred to them as mere activists, and their actions as a smokescreen.

He added that Sudan extends an open hand to all news agencies, correspondents, and satellite channels but will not allow media that targets the country’s leadership. He confirmed that his ministry is responsible only for setting guidelines for external media to follow.
