Ramadan of Decisiveness

By: Rashid Abdul Rahim
The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) sought to dismantle the state of Sudan, falsely and deceitfully referring to it as the “State of 56” without truly understanding its meaning or reality. They aimed to replace it with a state of lawlessness, devoid of thought, vision, and moral values—a state of killing, looting, displacement, and violations.
Today, a new state is emerging in Sudan, built on true justice and genuine independence.
With each passing day, our nation grows stronger, while the rebel forces are defeated and expelled by the advancing ranks of our soldiers, who are moving toward the final stages of liberation in central Khartoum and its surrounding areas.
Our brave forces are collecting the remnants of the rebels—their scattered bodies, their rotting corpses, and their newly acquired weapons, which have now become spoils of war, seized by the power of justice and strength.
The rebellion has left behind mercenaries and deceived soldiers, gripped by fear and lost in confusion, with no direction or place to hide.
Meanwhile, their leaders remain in delusion, fabricating lies and prolonging the inevitable for their forces without purpose.
They have no refuge left. Their leadership has perished, their young fighters have been annihilated, and all that remains are hollow cries, like those of their most prominent spokesman, Omar Jibril, who wrote yesterday:
“As we welcome Ramadan, our hearts beat with the memory of our martyrs who ascended in this holy month of 2023. Today, we are more patient and steadfast, holding onto the dream of a free Sudan. We anticipate the birth of a government that represents the will of the people, confident that the coup regime sheltering in Port Sudan will fall.”
They have lost the words of optimism and false promises, wrapping themselves instead in mourning and memories of their dead.
They fell into the trap of a so-called new government and similar deceptions, like the one propagated by their media figure, Issa Musa, who declared:
“Congratulations, brave fighters! Your F-16 warplanes are now striking down the Nile River militia—let us fight the Egyptian occupation!”
Their delusions have reached the point where they claim that Al-Obeid is about to fall into their hands when, in reality, it remains firmly outside their control.
Yesterday, several major countries issued clear statements that shattered these illusions. Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey all declared their opposition to any threat against Sudan. Turkey, in particular, summarized the matter clearly, stating:
“It is of utmost importance to refrain from any actions that would undermine Sudan’s unity, territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence.”
This was a direct message to Kenya and its supporters, as well as to those nations that have betrayed Sudan and profited from the looted wealth of the rebellion.
The weak political factions that once sought to align themselves with the rebels are now crumbling. The Taqaddum movement has splintered, and the old Sumood faction, still chasing the illusion of government, has followed suit.
The remnants of the Umma Party can no longer conceal its weaknesses and internal conflicts, while certain factions of the Democratic Unionist Party have revealed their lack of principles and clear stance.
Meanwhile, the youth of the revolution, the armed forces, the Mujahideen, and masses of citizens are painting a new, radiant picture—one of Sudan’s unwavering pride, resilience, progress, and the building of a new, strong nation.
As we step into this new era, we embrace the blessings of this year and the prosperous years ahead, laying the foundation for a proud and sovereign Sudan.
