Authority: Partial Suspension of Water Supply in Several Omdurman Neighborhoods

The Khartoum State Water Authority has announced a partial suspension of water supply in several neighborhoods and areas of Omdurman (Wednesday) due to maintenance work on a main pipeline that was deliberately sabotaged by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
The authority’s General Manager, Consultant Engineer Mohamed Ali Al-Ajab, stated that the maintenance work requires the temporary shutdown of the Beit Al-Mal water station and the transmission line from the “Al-Qamayir” reservoir. He added that the affected areas include Old Omdurman, parts of Al-Thawrat (First and Second Districts, and Block 15 Zaghlona), Al-Taqana Bin Al-Nas, and Al-Shinqiti.
He urged residents in these areas to take necessary precautions before the maintenance begins and apologized for any inconvenience caused by the process.
