New Ports Director General Issues His First Decision

The newly appointed Director General of Ports, Engineer Gilani Mohammed Gilani, has issued his first decision following his appointment, announcing the urgent implementation of the “Ramadan Basket” program for the authority’s employees and extending the installment payment period to 10 months instead of 6.

On Wednesday, the Sudanese Council of Ministers issued a decision appointing Engineer Gilani Mohammed Gilani as the Director General of the Sea Ports Corporation.

The council stated that this decision was based on the recommendation of the committee responsible for selecting job holders and heads of units, as part of efforts to enhance port management efficiency and improve its performance.
