Pakistani Army Eliminates 16 Terrorists, Including 4 Suicide Bombers

The Pakistani army eliminated 16 armed terrorists, including four suicide bombers, as they attempted to storm a military barracks in the Bannu area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwestern Pakistan.
A statement issued by the army’s media department on Thursday explained that a group of terrorists attempted to breach the barracks by crashing two explosive-laden vehicles into its walls during Iftar time the previous night. Security forces responded forcefully, killing all the attackers, including the four suicide bombers. However, four security personnel also lost their lives.
The statement added that the two explosive-laden vehicles detonated in a market near the military barracks, causing extensive destruction. The explosions led to the collapse of a mosque roof in the area, killing 13 civilians and injuring 32 others.
