Social Support Removal and Payment of Wage Differences for Railway Workers

The General Director of Sudan Railways, Engineer Musa Al-Qoum Al-Jahdi, confirmed the approval of a Ramadan breakfast for workers on shifts across all railway lines.

The union informed the workers about the increase in social support to 50,000 Sudanese pounds and the provision of housing and meal support from the Ministry of Finance. It also announced the approval to pay the wage differences for January and February in separate lists.

Furthermore, the confirmation was made regarding the agreement that no work-related housing should be vacated unless the monthly allocation is paid.

The Sudan Railways Workers Union congratulated its members on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan and expressed gratitude to the Governor of the Nile River State, the Minister of Finance, and the Nile River Workers Union for their support of the Ramadan basket for the workers.
