The Emergency Room of Abu Shouk camp for displaced persons in El Fasher, North Darfur, has complained about the lack of drinking water, food supplies, and fuel in the displacement camps and surrounding villages.
In a statement, the Emergency Room said that the ongoing artillery shelling of displacement camps and neighborhoods in El Fasher has prevented citizens from going to work in the markets. It called on humanitarian organizations and philanthropists to support the residents and establish communal kitchens (“Takaya”) to help save lives in the camps and residential areas.
