Flow of Goods into Al-Obeid

Reports indicate a steady flow of food and consumer goods into Al-Obeid city and several areas in Kordofan following the reopening of the White Nile-North Kordofan national highway. This has resulted in a noticeable drop in the prices of many essential goods.

Residents and traders expressed gratitude to the army and supporting forces, along with everyone who contributed to making this possible.

They also voiced hope for the restoration of state authority and the reopening of critical trade routes, including:

• Al-Obeid – Bara – Jabra – Omdurman Export Road
• Al-Obeid – Umm Sumaymah – Al-Khowei – An-Nahud Western Road.
