Field Hospital for Militia Opened in the South

Sudan Events – Reports
A field hospital funded by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was opened in a village in Northern Bahr el Ghazal State, near the Sudan border.

The hospital will treat wounded RSF militia fighters, who will be evacuated and treated at the facility by Emirati doctors.

President Salva Kiir assigned Vice President Dr. Benjamin Paul Mill to handle RSF militia affairs. Mill has been in contact with the UAE government to direct support to the RSF through Northern Bahr el Ghazal State.

The Madol Field Hospital has already received several injured fighters from RSF combat zones deep within Sudan.

The UAE has promised an additional $200 million to South Sudan if Juba grants land and air access for the delivery of equipment to RSF rebel bases in Sudan. The UAE and South Sudan support the RSF militia in its ongoing conflict with the Sudanese Armed Forces.
