Fluctuations in Crop Prices at Al-Nuhud Market

The agricultural commodity exchange in Al-Nuhud witnessed an increase in the prices of shelled peanuts and unshelled peanuts on Sunday, while the prices of gum arabic, sesame, hibiscus, and watermelon seeds remained stable.
The Auction Director at Al-Nuhud Exchange, Al-Radhi Ali Baraka, stated that the price of a ton of shelled peanuts rose from 1,050,000 SDG to 1,200,000 SDG in cash and from 1,150,000 SDG to 1,300,000 SDG for electronic payments.
Similarly, the price of a quintal of unshelled peanuts increased from 32,000 SDG to 37,000 SDG in cash and from 35,000 SDG to 40,000 SDG via electronic payment.
As for gum arabic, its price remained steady at 220,000 SDG per quintal in cash and 240,000 SDG via electronic payment.
Meanwhile, sesame prices remained stable at 55,000 SDG in cash and 60,000 SDG for electronic transactions.
Hibiscus prices also held firm at 45,000 SDG in cash and 50,000 SDG via electronic payment.
Additionally, watermelon seed prices continued to range between 42,000 SDG and 50,000 SDG in cash transactions.
